Hello Everybody its really been a very long time since I updated my blog. So much as happen that i can hardly being to tell it all. First and foremost God is still the Head of my Liffe, and through him all thing are possible.

I jut honour and give him the glory through each of my trial and truibulations. God is my solid foundation my rock of ages through it all. If I had a thousand tongue I jsut couldn't begin to tell it all. How good he's been to me.

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

We all face disappointments and setbacks. Life is full of things that try to
push us down. Maybe you got bad news concerning your health. A relationship
didn't work out. Maybe you lost your job. It was a setback. When we face
setbacks, it's easy to get discouraged or lose our enthusiasm. Too often we
are tempted to just settle where we are. But if we're going to see God's
best, we have to have a bounce-back mentality. That means when you get
knocked down, you don't stay down. You get back up again. It means when
disappointments come, you shake them off knowing that what the enemy meant
for your harm God is going to turn around and use for your good.

When you're a bounce-back person, you know that adversity is not permanent.
Weeping may endure for a night, but you know joy is coming in the morning.
There is wonderful joy ahead on the other side of this trial. Keep standing,
keep believing, and choose to be a bounce-back person because you are coming
out better off than you were before! You are rising higher, and you will
fulfill the destiny God has in store for you!

A Prayer for Today

Father in heaven, I choose to set my focus on You. I know that You are
turning things around in my favor. I choose to stand and believe Your
promises. Thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. In Jesus' Name.
Amen.

A Place of Abundance

...We went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of
abundance (Psalm 66:12 NIV).

Everyone has times in life when they feel like they are going through the
fire or perhaps feel overwhelmed with everyday life. If that's you today,
understand that God is going to bring you through those challenges; He's
going to bring you through the fire and the flood into a place of abundance.
We serve a God of more than enough, and His heart is to always make sure you
have whatever you need to be successful in every area of your life. The
Bible says that Jesus came so that we can have life-abundant life! He wants
you to have an abundance of resources,an abundance of wisdom, an abundance
of peace-everything you need. Open your heart and thank Him for His
goodness. Begin to receive His promises by faith. Remember, your praise
opens the door for Him to move on your behalf, and He wants to take you to a
place of abundance in every area of your life!

Heavenly Father, I humbly come to You today, giving You all that I am. Thank
You for leading and guiding me into a place of abundance. I give You all the
glory and praise.

In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Live Like a Champion

Living In The Rain of God's Favor

God longs for us to be like a well watered garden,
flourishing, full of joy, always in blossom. Yet
many times, due to situations that are happening in
our lives, we don't necessarily feel like we are
in full blossom, rather we feel like we're in a
dry spell.

When this happens, instead of giving up and
accepting your present circumstance as your lot
in life, decide to praise God more than you ever
have. In the Bible, the psalmist said, "I will
keep on hoping for You to help me. I will praise
You more and more." When we decide to give God
praise, something powerful and supernatural
happens. Peace, joy and divine favor begin to
rain down over our lives.

By praising God at all times, what happens in
the natural with rain, will be the same
spiritually over your lives; a cloud can only
hold so much condensation, so many vapors,
before it releases. In the same way, when you
keep sending up praise, you keep singing, "God
is good all the time," that cloud can only hold
so much before the blessings come bursting back
down. When you stay full of praise, God's blessing
will begin raining down, making sure that you
are always in blossom; causing you to bloom where you're
currently planted, even if you're in a dry spell!

Closer Than You Think

Do not cast away your confidence, for it carries
a great reward" (Hebrews 10:35).
Today

Have you been praying and believing for something that
seems like it's taking a lot longer than you thought?
Many times, people can miss God's best simply because
they give up before they see their "due season" come.
Don't let that be you! Be encouraged today, your answer
is closer than you think. If it seem like things are
getting more difficult, remember, when the intensity
heats up, that means you are closer to your victory.
It always seems darkest just before the dawn arrives.
You serve a faithful God, and He's working behind the
scenes on your behalf. Don't cast away your confidence
today because your reward is coming. And just like a
new mother forgets about her labor pain when she is
finally holding her newborn, you'll forget about your
struggle when you are holding on to your promise. While
you are waiting, keep an attitude of faith and expectancy.
Wake up every morning and say out loud, "I've come too
far to give up now. My due season is coming. I will reap
my harvest." Stay in faith and look for His hand of
blessing because He has promised you victory and it's
closer than you think!

Father in Heaven, today I stand believing that You are
working behind the scenes on my behalf. Give me Your
strength to continue believing until I see
Your promises fulfilled in my life. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Forget Your Past, God Has A New Beginning for You

I recieved this from a very good friend of mines, as a matter of fact I consider her my Spirtual-Twin.

I want to post the email as well as the statement she made in regards to the contents of the email.

Every week my daily devotional has a topic. This week's
topic is "Press On". Everyday has touched my heart more
and more. On this day, I feel the need to share this
one with everyone that I have a good email address for.
I hope that you all would read it, absorb it, meditate
on it,and past it along. I've noticed that in these
last years as we have all grown,more now than ever,
relationships are falling by the wayside for no reason.

I challenge each of you today to stand up and be more
than your situation. Whatever little things that may
have separated you from an old friend, an estranged
relative, or for that matter yourself, Let It Go! That
is my challenge to you. If you were in the wrong,
apologize! If you were right and the other person doesn't
apologize, let it go! It's not worth it. Life
is too short for the drama.

God forgives us every-time we sin, yet we can't forgive
our brother. What's up with that? It's time out for
playing church. God is looking for soldiers who aren't
afraid to stand up for him. I am not perfect, but I am
better than I was yesterday, and with God's help,I will
be even better tomorrow. That's all God asks of me.
It's that easy. I'm striving, are you? The balls in
your court!

All I have I give to you in love..

Forget Your Past, God Has A New Beginning for You

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter,
Simon,son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He
saith unto him, Yea Lord, thou knowest that I
love thee. He saith unto him, feed my lambs. John 21:15

Listen, if you're going to walk in the new beginning
that God has for you; then you're going to have to
let go of the past. Starting now, forget about what
you did, or what they did and look toward a new
beginning in your life. Today is your opportunity
for a fresh start, but letting go of the past is key.

Peter is a good example of a man who had to forget
his past. He denied the Lord three times and he
even cursed while doing it. However, when that cock
crowed three times, he knew he had blown it.

It hurt Peter so much that he had denied his Lord
and he had trouble getting past that. In fact,
even after Jesus had risen from the dead and
appeared to the disciples, Peter was still in
a depressed state. You see, Peter should have
been out preaching that, 'Jesus has risen from
the dead and he is alive!' But instead he decides
to gofishing and all the other disciples went with him.

So in John 21, verse 15, Jesus asks Peter, Do
you love me more than what you use to do,
your old profession? Do you love me more than
your self-pity?

Remember this: you can't have a new beginning if
you're stuck in the past feeling sorry for yourself
and drowning in self-pity. Sometimes self-pity
feels good because people will sympathize with
you and try to cheer you up;but Jesus didn't come
to Peter with that stuff. He said, "Peter, do you love
me more than this?"

And Simon Peter answered, "Lord, you know I love you."
Jesus said, "Feed my lambs." Then Jesus asks Peter
the same question two more times and again
Peter's reply was Lord, you know I love you, for
you know all things." Jesus says, then get out
there and feed my sheep.

Then Peter gets it. He understands, I'm not supposed
to be sitting here doing nothing. I have a new
ministry. Jesus has forgiven me. He's telling me
to go preach even after I denied him.

Now, you might have denied the Lord and done some
things you shouldn't have done, but if you will
repent, God will forgive you. There is fresh mercy for
you every morning. God is still calling you.
He is saying, come to me, I
have a new beginning for you.

What is my Ministry?

Hello Everyone, today is another blessed day. I am glad to be apart of this universe and a part of God’s Kingdom. I know many of you have seen the my screen name and probably wonder what is a woman’s ministry?

Well first let me begin by explaining or giving you a working definition of ministry, ministry according to the English dictionary means: activity by Christians to spread or express their faith.

When you combine it with A Woman’s Ministry, that my goal to spread my faith by giving others words of encouragement, hope, and the knowledge of Jesus.

I know there are many who quiver and shake in their boots( pump, or whatever style of footgear their in) when the name of Jesus or God is mentioned.

Just because a tree falls in a forest when no ones present doesn’t means it doesn’t make a sound. And just because you choose not to acknowledge God doesn’t make him untrue. It can become unreal to you by your lack of knowledge or understanding.

So in saying all of that my Ministry is to spread the belief of Hope and Encouragement through the knowledge and realization that God/Jesus/Holy spirit is in all of us not just a chosen few. However it’s up to us to let our light shine or to succumb to the darkness that exist in us all.

Skin Deep

For women who claim to be devoted to God should make themselves attractive by the good things they do.

Tonight I want you ask yourself this question. Is my Spirit only Skin Deep? In our life we are faced with many situations some of them work out in our favor and other don’t.

Sometime however there are instants where there is really no one else to consider and you must come to a conclusion all on your own.

Have you ever judge someone based solely upon the way that they looked. When I was younger I would try to associate with people I thought would benefit me. People you would consider the “in” crowd.

But as God has worked with me I have come to realize that a person is more then and outer appearance. Beauty is a temporary thing, not saying as you age that you can’t maintain a sense of beauty, however the beauty you had at fifteen will not be the same at fifty-five.

As we get older our body’s change our skin requires more care, we watch what we eat, and we try to exercise more. We do all of this in the name of beauty. It called maintaining what we have.
What about our spirit? Are we maintaining it as we do our outer shells? Do we cater to it do we nourish it, soothe it when its in pain? Or are we satisfied to dust off the surface never brothering to find out what God wants from us.

Our Spirit is damaged everyday by rejection, lies, mistreatment, loneliness, depression, sadness, cruelty, and a host of other things negative spirits we encounter.

What do we do to restore our Spirit do you spend time with God asking him to restore our mind, renew our spirit. Do you seek after him at all or are we satisfied with being only surface beautiful.

We need to get down to the matter of thing we have to move past the outer appearance which society says we have to always be fine, and move to the real stuff where we are just vulnerable enough to allow God to work.

So today I want you to ask yourself this question are you only surface beautiful or are skin deep do you have more to offer God than just the appearance of being fine.

Let your true light shine and watch your "surface beauty" become “Soul Deep”

Just Listen

Psalm 32:8 (NIV), I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

Have you ever felt empty like you just didn't have anything left. You've tried all you know and nothing seems to have worked out.

Do you feel inadequate like a failure because you keep facing the same obstacles, thing you want to put down and leave down but for some reason you always pick them back up.

In case you haven't figured it out yet if you are relying on self alone to get you through and over a situation then you may need to get some help.

God has informed us already that he is available and he's willing an able to deliver us from things and situations that are displeasing to him.

All we have to do is just listen I was reading 1 Kings 19 chapter.

In it God was speaking to the Prophet Elijah after he had fled Mt Carmel to go to Mt Sinai. Elijah was scared and he was hiding when God spoke to him and asked him " What are you doing here Elijah?'

Today in many of your lives God want to ask that same question " What are you doing here?

Elijah told God that the he was forced to flee in order to save his life, God told Elijah to go stand before him on the mountain.

While standing there Elijah witnessed a:

Mighty Windstorm
Earthquake
Fire
A Gentle whisper

According to the bible God didn't show up in the mighty windstorm, nor the earthquake, nor the fire, but God Show up in a gentle Whisper.

In order to hear God we have to be still and be quiet because he want us to hear what he had to say and look for what he has to show us.

Stop trying to do everything by yourself, take the time and listen to what God has to say and watch him teach you which way to go.

In Honour of You

It’s Memorial Day 2008, and I really wanted to give you something to think about today as we take time off from work, gather with family, and enjoy a little rest and relaxation.

Memorial’s Day formerly known as Decoration Day, it commemorates U.S. men and women who perished while in military service to their country. First enacted to honor Union soldiers of the American Civil War, it was expanded after World War I to include casualties of any war or military action.

With this in mind please take time out your day for a moment of reflection and silence on the sacrifices that so many have made for their country, their friends, their families, and you.

Pray for the continued strength of each fallen service member’s family both past and present let us continue to keep their memory alive by honouring them each year.

Just as we need to breathe we need to continually study the bible each day.

Leaning on the Master

God has been good to me in so many ways and in so many circumstances. His mercy has been everlasting in my life and I just want to give him the Glory and Honor that is due him.

I started this blog because I have encounter or heard of so many woman both young and old who is still confused about who is in charge. It times for the strong to grasp a hold of the weak and help them through difficult time. It’s time we embraced our sisters and form a band of Unity in our communities.

I hope that through this blog I will help to spread the "Good News" and share how God has been a continual blessing in my life through his darling son Jesus Christ.
